Getaround is looking for an off the charts Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team. As part of our TA team, you're charged with finding a diverse set of top notch talent that match our high growth goals. You're responsible for being the first point of contact and guiding candidates through our hiring process and connecting them to the wonders of working at Getaround. The Sourcer should be creative and driven in the pursuit of passively sourcing a diverse set of candidates. The Sourcer will be a crucial part in pipelining and growing our teams across all orgs. You’ll play an essential role in advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Getaround through our hiring.

What you’ll be doing

  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to become a subject matter expert on the team / role
  • Strategize and leverage multiple sourcing channels to identify high caliber candidates and maintain a healthy pipeline for priority roles
  • Actively touch base with both passive and active candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine basic qualifications
  • Sit-in on intake meetings with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the need of the team
  • Engage both passive candidates and understand their underlying motivations, while providing detailed information on the position requirements and company mission
  • Be the face of Getaround to our amazing candidates. Constantly push for a positive candidate experience with candidates to foster long-term relationships

What you'll need

  • 2+ years of sourcing experience
  • Proven track-record sourcing and hiring passive candidates. *You do not rely on inbound applicants or third party agencies
  • Advanced knowledge of boolean searches
  • Highly organized and extremely detailed oriented
  • Ability to think outside the box and find creative sourcing solutions
  • Self-starting, scrappy and resourceful work ethic requiring minimal to no guidance
