We a remote first organization. This position is 100% fully remote, as long as you reside in the United States.

NOTE: For this position, to support the growing needs within our west coast customers / operations, we are seeking to hire someone that resides on the PST part of the United States. This will support a more efficient response time to our merchants and warehouses, which is a key to this role being successful.

The Sr. Operations Manager (Warehouse Partner Solutions), is a team leader that enjoys building relationships, has years of quality assurance experience, and excellent account management strategy. This role will be critical to leading our warehouse operations teams towards success, supporting and growing warehouse partners, ensuring their success towards a 98% on-time shipment rate.

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for maintaining a partner qualification program consisting of qualification audits intended to vet the operational capabilities/quality systems of partner warehouses.
  • Engages partner warehouses to ensure appropriate Quality Management Systems (QMS) are established to guarantee regulatory compliance at the local, state and federal level.
  • Maintains a partner/vendor compliance program incorporating routine reviews of KPIs, environmental monitoring reports, deviations/CAPAs, customer complaints and client escalations
  • Manages deviation investigations, oversees CAPA implementations and champions continuous improvement
  • Responsible for the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and associated training materials to establish clear expectations and facilitate scale.
  • Supports the outreach of new accounts and existing signed partners to help scale their business and ensure continued / repeat business
  • Conducts warehouse onboarding calls with new and existing partners including thorough training of the software, an overview of the billing process, ensuring Flowspace expectations, and highlighting critical contract goals / commitments
  • Ensures partnership alignment for new merchants being placed in their warehouse to review SOW and special arrangements, partnering closely with the Solutions team to determine needs
  • When necessary and possible, be on-site at the warehouse facility prior to and during inbounds for new key accounts.
  • Partners closely with Account Managers and Partner Relationship Managers as a liaison for large account launches or escalated order processing blockers.
  • Works diligently to prevent churn as a result of poor warehouse performance issues by continuously providing adequate feedback and training to warehouse partners.
  • Will directly lead, coach and develop (1) Warehouse Operations Manager, located on the Northeast side of the business, to mutually achieve and build relationship growth for the business.
  • Will be a master of the Flowspace product at a core level with a focus on integrations, APIs, and WMS functionality.
  • Applies excellent warehouse management knowledge, aware of all operational roles, procedures, and best practices to ensure operational consistency and excellence at all warehouse sites
  • Partners closely with the sales team to scope out complex deals.
  • Will fulfill current KPI’s for this role, in addition to helping any direct reports succeed with their goals, aligned towards warehouse high performance metrics.

Who We're Looking For:

  • 8-10 years of Operations or Customer Service or Account Management experience
  • Experience leading/coaching others, towards exceptional warehouse operations / account management performance
  • Logistics experience to understand and support the needs and demands of our customers
  • Excellent problem-solving abilitiesAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • This person will need to be a comfortable and confident communicator, across a variety of customers.
  • Proactive thinker, taking initiative and offering solutions, to continuously improve the business and ultimately the growth/success of our merchants

Bonus Points:

  • Specific experience in warehouse logistics/operations
  • WMS experience

Other Helpful Things To Know:

  • 30% travel within the United States, however the majority of the travel will support merchants and warehouse operations on the west coast.
  • This is a remote position, however, employees must be technically proficient and capable at staying connected, engaged and available, across a variety of technology resources, such as Slack, Zoom, etc.
