UK Account Executive

What you will be doing


  • Creating sales plans/strategies to achieve the assigned quotas for new revenues, upsells and renewals;
  • Prospecting accounts and following up with leads;
  • Partnering with publisher reps to build relationships and procure sales leads
  • Shepherding qualified RFP’s/Tenders through the strategy and completion process for a successful award;
  • Working with Growth/Marketing, Customer Success and Content to create sales campaign strategies, support implementations and maximise content



What success means:


  • Meeting and exceed annual sales quota
  • Expanding and renew existing accounts
  • Closing strategic opportunities to expand BibliU’s reach and visibility
  • Employing successfully the company’s sales methodology
  • Working effectively with other teams and reps

Job requirements


  • 2-5 years high achieving sales experience
  • Comfortable working in the C-suite and with executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation & negotiation skill
  • Background in higher education or education technology sales with strong set of C-level contacts a plus
  • Knowledge of the publishing industry a plus


Our Ideal Candidate also has:


  • Strong understanding of technology - both BibliU and general EdTech product offerings and SaaS sales tools such as CRM-Salesforce.com, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides
  • Demonstrated utilization of sales methodology to develop and close opportunities - preferably Miller Heiman Strategic Selling and/or the Challenger Sale
  • Familiarity of the publishing and electronic publishing ecosystem
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Familiarity with and excels at enterprise sales
  • Availability to travel to meet clients when necessary
